His promptness of service is adequate - he works alone, so it may take a month or so for him to begin your project; but his starting promptly at the pre-arranged scheduled time is superior. Also, his responsiveness is superior - he gets back to you promptly and/or makes time to stop by promptly if there are any issues or problems to be discussed or viewed. Finally, I’ll end by noting that, as indicated by a referring contractor, he is quite personable.

I called Bob 4 Hire in late July, 2024 to repair some damaged fencing and to fix two leaky outside water taps. He gave me a bottom line of $230 for the whole job, including getting the lumber (a 4x4 post and 7 slats) and replacing the fencing and fixing the faucets. I agreed and scheduled the job for about 2 weeks hence. The day came and the friendly son (“Rob”) did everything within an hour or two. I was pleased with everything, but Rob reported the faucets were worn and barely unusable; a fact I verified. He replaced the worn gaskets, but the plumbing's a bigger job than I expected, so I postponed everything for competing bids. Overall I thought Rob was great and can recommend him.

Not Recommended
Worked on replacing facing around store shed doors. Later I noticed the vinyl siding was lose and not knowing if the hard time he had getting to old facing off I called for him to come back. Rob was supposed to come back within 3 days after my call and I have not heard from him and it has been a full week has gone by. I would not hire this company again, ever.
