I hired 495 movers based on reviews and they have been the worst movers I've ever worked with. They damaged the edge of my dining room table, carried a curio cabinet incorrectly and damaged it, stained a headboard and broke a wheel off of my file cart (and then tried to fix it with tape!). I only found the dining table damage before they left. They did not report anything else. Now, they won't provide me with the paperwork that I signed so that I can use my insurance (not that it will help replace the damage). They were unprofessional, carless and and unethical. (I wish I could post photos.) They were very nice with communication prior to the move -- but that's it.

The moving estimate staff were very professional and answered all of our questions while conducting a survey. The moving team was exceptional. They were efficient, courteous, and worked to the bone to get everything where it needed to be largely within the estimated time it would take. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

My wife and I had a great experience with 495 Movers moving from Rockville, MD to Texas. The process from beginning to end was seamless. From the initial call to the day we moved into our new apartment in Texas, the team proved to be exemplary. They gave us free packing supplies including boxes, tape, and packing paper that we were able to pick up at their office (compared to buying the supplies ourselves, we ended up savings hundreds.) The team packed and loaded everything quickly on the day of the move labeling everything by room which made unpacking that much easier. They kept us well informed and checked in on us several times before and after the move. I recommend 495 Movers to anyone!
