Acme installed gas fireplace insert several years ago in a fireplace with a difficult drafting issue. Insert works very well and we have them do inspection/maintenance annually. Technicians are qualified. Telephone responsiveness is not great though.

Acme cleaned and rehabbed our 20+ year-old gas fireplace. They were efficient and meticulous. Would recommend them without reservation.

While their warehouse selection is impressive, they would not guarantee proper installation for the fireplace insert they recommended and they wanted to charge me extra for doing an on-site examination and even then wouldn't guarantee the final installation cost. Very glad I didn't sign with them, as their solution would not have fit properly.
