Bray and Scarff, as exemplified by the Rockville, MD, store personnel, is good and enthusiastic selling a product with an attractive discount, but they were dreadful at post-sales customer service. It took over 5 months from the time the Rockville store accepted my original order for an out-of-production freezer until I had a fully acceptable an in-production freezer. When the in-production freezer arrived about 3 months after the original order, the door was damaged. It took 3 orders and more than 6 weeks to receive a replacement door with the first two orders being addressed to the wrong residence. Another 10 days passed until GE could install the door. Frequently I had to follow up an initial inquiry one or more times to get a response. More than once I received conflicting or confusing information or instructions from B&S. Some responses seemed to say don’t worry about it, it’s not your concern, as if my concerns were irrelevant, or the sales agent didn’t want to be troubled with addressing after-sales problems. It was a very frustrating and aggravating experience!
