my taxes were done incorrectly because they were not checked against the previous years taxes which results in them being submitted without all 1099s. This results in months of hassle for me and penalties had to be paid. The firm did not assist me in resolution which I had to do myself with the state tax authority. BDO did absorb the cost of the penalties by reducing their fee.
