He put in an outside faucet in the place there had been but the faucet was cut off from the water years before. He gave us an estimate and then it would probably be less. He only charges for his time. It ended costing about 25% less than his original estimate. He didn’t have to move stuff off of furniture as we did that before he came. Pleasant man to work with. To the other person who gave him a mixed review. Call WSSC, they are the ones in charge of the outside turn off. The fact that the grass grew over it, you don’t really know if it actually fit. WSSC needs to make the turn off accessible.

Mixed results, but I wouldn't ask him back. Mr. White did a nice job replacing our kitchen faucet.  He had also suggested replacing our old main water valve, which was a good idea.  The shut-off inside the basement was hard to reach, being near the floor and under a table.  He did a good job raising the access point and adding a quarter-turn shut-off.  When accessing the water meter in the front yard, he had to pull up some grass that covered part of it.  After the job when he replaced the rusted lid on top of the meter, it no longer sat flat in the ground.  In fact, it was tilted downward at a 45-degree angle with about three inches protruding above ground next to a deep hole.  I noticed this when I was clearing the dog poop for the lawn crew that was about to show up.  After I headed into the house to call Mr. White, the lawn crew came.  Their lawnmower broke off part of the meter cover and damaged their cutting blade.  Now the meter cover was tilted completely sideways into a wide, 3-foot deep hole. I called Mr. White to tell him and then texted him a photo he requested.  Over the phone he told me the cap to the meter didn't fit.  I told him that before the replacement, the cap lay flat.  He said that it was not flat before.  I told him I was sure it had been flat and was definitely not sticking out of the ground.  He began yelling over me about accusing him of being a liar and wouldn't let me speak.  Now I had a deep hole in my yard that was a risk for a person or my dog to break his leg.  The large safety cone WSSC temporarily placed over the hole didn't completely cover it, so they returned an hour later to place a new cap over the meter and seal the hole.  The WSSC dude rolled his eyes when I told him Mr. White said the meter cap didn't fit. After that incident, Mr. White didn't return my calls to complete another job he had promised.  So he ended up lying about two things.  A friend asked me if I really wanted this plumber to return.  That would be a NO.
