7-14-14 - We went to Marlo's in Laural, MD on 7-4-14 to check out some Leather Sofa's.We found a set that we really liked, it was The Hutcherson collection and was marked at $4,299.95 just for the sofa. Their sale price was $1,999.95 & $1,979.95 for the loveseat. We all know that furniture has a huge mark up. We spoke to the manager and agreed to drop the price to $1,600 for each. On 7-6-14 I found another furniture store with the exact same set for $2,295.95. Throw in the Coffee table, 2 end tables and a pair of lamps their price came to $2989.95 plus $100.00 white glove delivery.

I went back to Marlo and spoke to the assistant manager. I showed him the print out of all the items and asked if they could throw in all the tables and lamps at the $3,200.00 that I already paid. His respond was, this isn't the same furniture. I pointed out that it was because the SKU #'s matched 2110035. He said he wouldn't do anything and if I ordered from this place I would regret it. He continue to rant at how this would be a mistake & I just cut him off and demanded my money back.

The next day I spoke to the store manager and he said he would only lower the price to the employee pricing but wouldn't do anything else. I called the corporate office and they never even called back or anything.

We'll never go back to Marlo's again!

PS. I ordered the furniture from the other store and received everything in prefect condition. It was also the exact same furniture at Marlo.

If you go, get the SKU # and look online. I guarantee that you'll find it majorly cheaper then what Marlo is asking for.
