Family business out of Laurel. The owner, Dave Kilpatrick, performs most services. He is interested in safety, not sales. Last time he told me to skip a year or two - my chimney didn't need annual visits!

An emergency need for chimney repair drove me to get two bids, one from 2 Hats and one from another vendor on this listserv. The bids came in about the same, but it was only 2 Hats that alerted me to the possibility that workmen who walked on my spanish tile roof might easily break some of the tiles if they were not careful. For this reason 2 Hats insisted on getting to the chimney via a route that didn't require them to step on the tiles. I appreciated their caution and their candor in explaining all this to me. They were already top-rated in this forum, and I want to add my very positive review to those already posted.
