D, the stylist, shortly after starting to see her, mentioned a tony neighborhood in Bethesda or Chevy Chase; asked me if lived there. Though not her business, I said I lived nearby, in Kensington. I felt she was trying to judge if I were one of the upper classes(read: rich, snobby). While she was doing my hair once, a male employee leaned over to D and said, are you going to tell him about the hole? He meant the thinning on top of my head. At another visit, I handed her the tip envelope first, before the service. She mimed putting it in her pocket and walking away. I felt that was unprofessional, somewhat passive aggressive. During the last visit, I opened my phone to show her a photo of myself. I couldn't see it properly without my glasses. She suddenly thrust her hand up under the apron cape and groped around my chest to get my glasses. That was violating my personal space and startling, an impatient gesture. They don't really want me there, don't need my money.
