I highly recommend Dr. Neelam Shah. She spends plenty of time with each patient, listening carefully and recommending courses of action and then discussing them. She is great at jumping into action and coordinating care with other departments if needed. I notice she often responds to my messages late at night or on the weekends, which is her private time I'm sure. I love having a doctor who listens!

Dr. Shah is almost always running late. However, I know it's because she's giving everyone pretty much the time they need rather than the 10-15 minutes Kaiser wants them to. So, when it's your turn to see her, you will also get the time you need. So be sure to bring something to read or games to play to while away the time you're waiting.

Dr Shah is an excellent physician, who listens to you and gives you the time you need. The downside of that is that there is often a very long wait. Coordination of care with specialists is suburb, aided by the efficiencies of being part of the Kaiser Permanente group.
