This small company was recommended by Deanwood Decks (highly rated on Checkbook) after Deanwood was too busy to take my deck rebuild project when we were ready to start. The work was done for the same amount quoted by Deanwood after Barry Stohlman came to see what was needed, although we added some additional items after the work started (fascia, and additional work on the octagonal gazebo). This was much more than a just a simple remove the flooring and railings of a second-story deck and install Trex in its place because of the unusual way that the original deck had been constructed by Deck America. Additional framing joists needed to be put in place. To be able to put railings and screens in the gazebo, the 8 posts supporting the roof had to be replaced, one by one - again because of the odd original construction. The work was done carefully and things were fitted together precisely, resulting an a very finished look that we are very pleased with. The company's website advertises that they also do remodeling, renovation, and cabinetry.
