I opted for adequate overall because the quality of the wood blind we got to replace our Next Day (out of business for a few years) blind is inferior. We have now had to replace it 3 times in the 2 1/2 years we've had it. 3 Day's service, however, has been quick and trouble-free, not costing anything under their guarantee. All our former Next Day blind needed was restringing the pull cord, which 3 Day would not do. I was too stupid to find out that Fix My Blinds sells cord, and there are people who will replace it. I found instructions online, but I was intimidated from trying it myself. Another Next Day blind now needs a new pull cord, which I will order from Fix (they send free samples for a color match) and either install myself or hire someone to do. Either is much cheaper than a new blind that may be inferior when what we've got remains in excellent shape. Since you force me to choose recommended or not, rather than choosing neither, I chose not for my own experience. However, I helped my mother get remote-controlled shades from 3 Day. They work fine, and 3 Day came without much delay to replace a rechargeable battery that failed. Her experience would be worth a positive recommendation.

I bought a whole wall of wood blinds from these folks about 15 months ago, and one of the blinds got a shredded lift string. I was expecting to be stonewalled in getting it repaired, but they got right to it and sent out a guy who effected the fix soon after I called in. They service what they sell. Refreshing!
