We hired United Service Specialists, and specifically Justin, to replace the water lines in our house during a remodel of our bathrooms. We put down the deposit at the end of February, with a goal of starting the project around the beginning of April. The general contractor was ready a week or so early, and we asked whether USS could start early as well. They said that they had the parts and could start early, but on the scheduled day it turned out that they didn't have all of the parts, wasting valuable time. Then, unfortunately, Justin had a medical emergency and couldn't do the work. The substitute technician was not an employee and didn't do a very good job. He and the team completed the project in a day but skipped important steps, like padding the pipes where they passed through wood and running the pipes all the way to shutoff valves for fixtures. We had to pay another plumber to complete the work. USS did refund some of what we paid, and we are likely to use them again. Until this project they had been good contractors, and Justin is fantastic.

Marvin Chaney from I think the College Park office came out to fix number of issues at our townhouse. He took care of them all and the tenant really was happy with him. I would not say saving money was at the top of his list though.

These folks do HVAC also and my experience with the HVAC work has also been very good.
