The owner, Tom Evans, was at the work site everyday with his crew. He is extremely knowledgeable and does not upsell. His prices are not the cheapest, but he does quality work and is painstaking in the detail of the work. He designed the landscaping and stone wall he built as well as the lighting, suggesting plants that thrive in the environment with an eye toward ease of maintenance and a natural look. He is very honest and an excellent source of expertise which he has learned over the years.

Tom was contacted to implement a drainage solution to a wet yard. The installation was incorrect the first time and needed to be dug up and replaced. Tom acknowledged the mistake and offered to correct it. The job really went off the rails at this point as the corrective action wasn't as complete as what our contract outlined but Tom said it was adequate. In the end I felt as though I may not have gotten everything that was necessary to correct the problem and was worth the expense. Also, if you've ever had to have a contractor return to fix a job it's never fun. To add to the discomfort on the first return visit to correct the mistake I overheard his foreman basically state that they said they were doing one thing in my yard to remedy the mistake, but actually doing another. Skip this contractor. I wish I had paid a couple hundred more for the company I thought was more organized.
