My experience with Emerson at Smart Home Inspects was superb. I had Emerson come out to inspect our home for asbestos after I became aware that there might be a problem. His office was very responsive in terms of scheduling. Emerson was able to come out quickly and was exceptionally courteous and professional. I was very impressed with his level of expertise. What I appreciated most: Emerson sat down with me prior to the inspection and spent a good amount of time answering my questions and explaining the process. He was straightforward and informative and this information, in itself, was valuable and put me a bit at ease because, regardless of the result, I felt that I understood the process and possible outcomes. He took samples, sent them out to a lab and provided me with a report once the results had come back to him. The report was informative and understandable. My impression was that his inspection was thorough – he looked at various areas of the home that might be problematic. He also provided a few suggestions as to next steps. He provided his report within a reasonable amount of time. I am very glad that I chose Emerson and Smart Home Inspects to provide this valuable service.
