My elementary school daughter has taken ballet with Mrs. Meetze for a year now and she has loved it. Every other year the City of Gaithersburg dance classes put on a spring dance recital that is free to the viewing public -- it is lovely. I also highly recommend the 1-week summer dance camp. The city's offerings are reasonably priced.

Since Jan 2013, I have taken 4 belly dancing classes, all at the beginning or beginning/intermediate level. Before that I've taken social dance & an intro to swing. Overall, it is well worth the money & time to take any of the recreation courses... you have nothing to lose in learning what your next passion may be!
