The Woodfield shop has a great staff, both front desk and mechanics/techs. They have been doing maintenance on my vehicles for several decades. What I have learned is that they prefer to do a "soup to nuts" assessment before letting you know what's up. It is not an "upsell" in any way, but their attempt to be complete and accurate from the get-go. Two things about price: (1) they are on the more expensive side for labor and (2) they do not like to use anything but known brand and manufacturers' replacement parts, so their total prices tend to be higher that some shops, but WAY LESS costly than the dealers. I'm happy with them and think that most will be as well. One note: things will still go wrong with your car after you get it serviced. It isn't Hillmuth that causes this, it is just that cars are mechanical and wear out.
