Tech’s attitude toward remediating spider infestation and bees was tepid. He was adverse to checking interior spaces we thought might be the source of entry. He insisted the sole fix was on the outside of the house. After pressing the issue, he reluctantly agreed to spray the basement only. We paid 540 to remediate spiders and bees As to bees, he said there was little he could do because it was not nesting season. He did not thoroughly inspect the inside of the home for places of entry , despite the fact we had been seeing them on the inside. I cannot recommend American Pest.

We started with a smaller local pest control company that was bought by another and then by American Pest. As I have seen through personal experience with an HVAC company where the same process of larger companies buying smaller companies occurred, the service often goes down and the price goes up. While the service seemed okay with American Pest, and the technicians were pleasant, the price kept going up. And the back office seemed to have difficulties posting payments on a timely basis. When this became annoying, we moved on to another pest control company.

I contracted with American Pest several years ago to eliminate a field mice invasion of my home. They quickly eliminated the mice and they have never returned. Their exterior service ensures that rodents and insects stay outside. I am very pleased with the service.
