PJ’s was about the lowest prices of the estimates we got (there was a 50% range). They were ready to go in a couple of weeks but got delayed a week or so due to spring rains, but that’s not in their control! Crew was great, very efficient and skilled. Work was excellent and cleanup very good, I’ve not found a bit of old roofing materials or nails anywhere. It took one day to do most of the reroofing (remove old roof and replace) and another day and a half to finish small details. All the crew was pleasent. Pjs also used the heaviest architectural shingle so hopefully the best protection from falling limbs from all the big trees we have. Neighbor across the street used PJs a few months ahead of us and similar experience to ours best price and high quality work.

Let me preface my review by saying that I have been in the residential real estate development business for over 35 years, and have dealt with dozens of roofing contractors and subcontractors. Consequently, I know quality roof work when I see it, and I also know what is a fair price for repairs, for new roof installation, and for existing roof replacement. I can state without a doubt that PJ’s Roofing is by far the most outstanding roofing company that I have ever dealt with. Not only do they do high quality work at a very competitive price, but they also stand behind their work and will come back to fix any issues that arise even after several years. The owner, P.J. Nicholson, is personally involved with the day-to-day operations, and he takes great pride in making sure that all of his customers are 100% satisfied. It’s no surprise that PJ’s Roofing won the “Best of the Best” roofing contractor award in Frederick County for nine years in a row. Going forward, I will be definitely be using P.J.'s Roofing for all of my roof repair and replacement needs.

PJ's has been great over the past couple of years. In 2021, had to have my 5 year old house roof replaced due to defective installation by the deficient builder and they did an excellent job. This time, I used their siding group to remediate once again deficient siding installation by the builder. I called to company and the estimate Shane came out and provide the estimate in the fall 2023 and had the work done in late April 2024. The crew that showed up, Curtis and William, were professional and completed the work when promised. I truly appreciate this company's workmanship and professionalism and will continue to use them in the future should something else come up.
