I consider myself lucky to have found Brown’s Plumbing on Checkbook! This is basically a family-run business with excellent plumbers Fred (the father) and Sean (the son) and “office manager” Mary Beth (wife, mother), who answers the phone. The company is easy to contact, since Mary Beth is at the phone regularly. Also, they are able to schedule visits without too much delay, and they are entirely dependable about arriving on schedule. I had a rather complicated kitchen-countertop project to accomplish that required plumbing help on two specific days, first to remove my old plumbing and then (after the old countertops had been replaced) to install new plumbing. Since two other companies were also scheduled to work on this project on specific days, the complete dependability of Brown’s Plumbing was a real asset here. When Sean first came, he wisely noticed that what the countertops company had planned was likely going to be incompatible with my 46-year-old kitchen plumbing and might require tearing up my lower cabinets! Fred also stopped by to confirm this assessment. Their experience and insight led to a shallower new kitchen sink being ordered and saved me from a potential nightmare! Despite the fact that having to order a different sink set back all of the daily schedules, Brown’s Plumbing displayed extremely helpful flexibility in rescheduling their second, installation visit, thus sparing me from a long wait without a functioning kitchen. And when, on that installation visit, Sean discovered *another* problem—that the countertops company had drilled too small a hole for the new faucet side spray—he came back later on the *same day* (after the hole had been redrilled) to finish installing the new plumbing and thereby to give me back a functioning kitchen without further delay! I couldn’t have asked for a better service experience from this company! And, as an extra bonus, Fred, Sean, and Mary Beth were each a pleasure to work with! Brown’s Plumbing absolutely has my highest recommendation!

This is a family business. It was very easy to make appt. , showed up on time and completed the service required. Sean was very helpful with recommending what needed to be done. He did not try to sell me on any additional parts etc. I highly recommend and will utilize them in the future.
