Cleaners scratched my hardwood floors on several occasions, the last time a very large, very obvious scratch. I didn't think I could repair it myself, as I had done with the others. Lynn Smith sent a floor refinisher out to look at it, and he said that to repair it "properly", the entire floor would need to be refinished. I would have been happy with a little professional sanding and staining on the affected area--it wouldn't have been perfect but that was ok with me. Instead of negotiating the extent of the repair job, Ms. Smith said that the refinisher told her that the scratch could not have been caused by the tools the cleaners were using. That's ridiculous for starters, but when Ms. Smith intimated that I was trying to get my floors refinished at her expense, that was the final straw. I don't need the services of someone who questions my honesty.

I no longer use them because workers are not their employees. Staff responsible for own benefits.

I incorrectly assumed that staff were emplyees covered by social security, health care, etc. I want household help to have benefits.
