So why did I rate American Deck a 'D'? American Deck completely ignored the original footprint, and decided that my 30-year-old shrubs were in the way. So they ground them to the dirt. I'll have no joy with this porch, as I now have no privacy, and there is no shrubbery anywhere. As a bonus, they left the dead stumps of my mature shrubbery, with their spring growth slowly withering, for me to clean up.
