Deanwood was terrific. Headed by the gentle, calm professional Tom Pitsenberger and work done by his son, Andrew. Pricing was very fair. Timely start and finish (one week). Andrew was prompt, consistent, quality oriented and laser-focused. He even went beyond the scope to replace joists that I had overlooked. Beautiful result. Pleasure to deal with.

Got a quick response from Tom Pitsenberger, owner of Deanwood Decks, to our query about replacing our aging wood deck unlike with other deck companies we contacted.Negotiations were done by phone and email. Tom was always responsive to our questions. We decided on Trex Transcend decking and railings. His son Thomas came out to take pictures and measurements and an estimate from Tom soon followed. The price seemed very fair to us. Very soon thereafter Tom’s son Andrew began the job, worked entirely on his own, and completed the job within two weeks. Andrew is very focused and exacting with measurements and works very diligently. He also did a nice job replacing some trim on our screened porch. Thomas came back to make a few minor adjustments that we requested. We are very happy with our new deck and would definitely recommend Deanwood Decks.

We received a very reasonable deck estimate from Tom Pitsinger for large 27x18 wood deck and his son Andrew did a great job building the deck, including Rain Escapes Under Deck Drainage System . Tom's team took care of getting Montgomery County building permit in record time and deck passed two inspections during construction and final inspection at the end with no problems. Andrew worked with us on a number of unexpected challenges and identified solutions that worked perfectly. Highly recommend Deanwood Decks for cost and quality.
