Jose is the sales person and job supervisor. He was a delight to work with. He visited the house to evaluate my needs. He was prompt and detailed. He listened and he gave me useful suggestions and options. The job was done to my complete satisfaction. I never met the owner, Gordon, but we communicated by email. Gordon was prompt responsive. I highly recommend Optima Designs as long as Jose is involved. Reston, VA

Optima has done ALL of my painting, interior and exterior, for ten years. They just completed the second full exterior painting today and I couldn't be more satisfied. Great attention to detail and thorough cleanup each day. Beautiful job at a fair price — as usual.

I called Gordan Franks, the owner of Optima Designs, with an urgent request for a carpenter who could repair and seal roof trim and repair a front porch - both had been damaged by pests. Mr. Franks was extremely responsive, showing up within a day to discuss our repair needs. He made good suggestions about additional, long overdue work that we had been thinking about on the house. We decided to do the needed wood repairs, have the exterior of the house cleaned and wood trim painted, and have his handyman do a few needed indoor repairs. The estimate I received for the work seemed fair, based on several other bids I had received, and I very much appreciated that Optima Designs collects payment only when the work is complete (unlike several other firms I spoke with who wanted 1/3 payment before any work would begin). His carpenter, Edgar, was able to start and finish the work the next week. Edgar was very knowledgable and clearly experienced. His work was excellent. He quickly and professionally addressed the few concerns and/or questions I had. He kept a very clean site and provided great advice about options for the repairs that were needed. I am extremely pleased with Optima Designs and the carpenter it employs. I would strongly recommend them.
