I took my Toyota in for 85,000 mile service, and was told the recommended service would be $985. Way too much for my budget, so we agreed the tasks would be cut back to cost no more than $500. But when the car was done, they said it would be $706, including a wash that I had not agreed to. A few days later I called the Service MGR to complain and he agreed that the price change should not have happened, and immediately refunded $206 to my credit card. I appreciated his response and will likely go back once more to give them another chance, but was disappointed that this seeming "bait and switch" had happened -- the first and only time in 20 years of buying and servicing cars at Jim Coleman.

On a scheduled maintenance, the technician performed a service that was not included in the schedule and was not approved by me. Jim Coleman made it right and credited me for a future service.
