Gary P. Frank replaced our gas furnace and water heater with a high-efficiency electric heat pump, and an electric heat pump water heater. I chose Gary P. Frank because they offered a complete turn-key installation, including all plumbing and electrical work. Other HVAC companies I contacted did not install water heaters, or would not run the wiring from my electrical panel across my basement to the site where the air handler and heat pump were to be installed. Gary P. Frank’s pricing was competitive to other companies with comparable equipment, and they included a two year warranty on labor and a two year service contract. Guy Philemon sold me the system, and headed the installation team. He was both knowledgeable about the equipment, and an expert craftsman. His crew worked quickly and efficiently, and cleaned up well each evening. They ensured that we would be without hot water and/or heat for the shortest possible period. Finally, the office staff has been very helpful in filing and pursuing my rebate application with DCSEU.

We had the same tech. for 5 years with dependable results. This year we have a new one due to scheduling. He was pleasant, efficient and explained what was going on. The only problem seems to be that the day before an appointment, twice some called to try to reschedule. With a contract and an appointment 2 weeks in advance, I feel they better have a good reason. This year they came within the window and successfully completed service.

Add to my previous comments: the cold air draft was at times coming out of the some ducts, even though the heat pump was turned off. I was still felt they were so kind to help me out on some issues in the crawl space. Never had any arguments or disagreements w/ GPF prior. During the last conversation w/ Guy & Gary, I did the very lst time revealed my frustration of not being able to have direct communication w/ Guy in recent months, which was quite unusual, also the front office's being inefficient & not giving all my msgs. to Guy. Even though the appt. was still be on the next day, even w/ my health issue in question, GPF rescinded my contract right after the conversation via email, w/o any warning.
