I just completed my Physical Therapy for a knee injury. During the initial evaluation, Carly listened carefully when I described my injury, my previous PT experiences and my lifestyle. She took all of this into consideration in my treatment plan. She tested my knee range of motion and strength. For most weeks I had 2 appointments a week. Appointments lasted about 45 minutes. We worked on strengthening the knee and my right leg. In time, I experienced an improvement in both range of motion and strength. Within about a month, I was able to jog a bit and experienced less discomfort. My walking and hiking speeds improved. I have now completed my 10 week treatment plan at Westwood Bay State Physical Therapy and am very pleased with my progress and recovery! Carly and her team did a great job of rehabilitating my knee. I am 73 years old and in the beginning, I wondered if PT would be able the fix my knee issue. I can now say that, no matter how young or old you are, Carly at Bay State Physical Therapy can work with you to improve your discomfort for many ailments! My specific ailment needed 10 weeks of care, along with doing prescribed exercises and stretches at home daily.
