I had used My Window Washing to clean my gutters twice a year for about 3 years. Most recently, in Fall, 2023, I was disappointed that the person they sent spoke no English. He was in poor physical shape, and it seemed dangerous for him to work on a roof. Previously, I had recommended this company to my neighbor. After this company cleaned my gutters, another crew appeared a week later and climbed onto my roof. It turned out they were from the same company, and intended to be working on my neighbor's house! We're at a corner, and the addresses are non-sequential. This second crew, which had been requested by my neighbor and not by me, noted that I had a totally clogged downspout on an upper story. The second crew flushed out that downspout, but I realized that the earlier person sent by this company had left my gutter clogged. Furthermore, while this company has its own trucks, they always sent apparent sub-contractors to work on my house. Between leaving a clogged gutter where I could not have detected it, and sending a person with whom I could not communicate, My Window Washing convinced me never to use them again, and to let Consumer Checkbook readers know about my unsatisfactory experience.

Prompt, professional, and courteous interactions with the staff by phone and with the technician in person are much appreciated. We will continue to use this company for gutter cleaning.
