Shady financial advisors who recommend investing in their own two star Appleseed Fund, specifically the investor class with a higher expense ratio. If they are unable to manage their own fund, how qualified are they to handle clients investments? Management fees are 1.25%. These management fees are also deducted from cash balances, which is not practiced at other firms, such as Vanguard, Fidelity, and Merrill Lynch. Performance of accounts are printed in bogus graphs. The Securities and Exchange Commission has fined this group $285,000 in civil money penalties for their illegal/unethical activities.
