I called Aspen Hill Plumbers to handle some plumbing issues around my house – a couple of sump pump issues, new bathroom faucet and some caulking. The experience was very positive. I received a lot of attention even though these were smaller jobs. The guys who came out were reliable, straightforward, conscientious and were easy to work with. Dave Glick was responsive to the details of our situation and actually listened to my concerns. I was happy with the result.

I am rather torn between the good service I got on my third visit by them that actually solved my kitchen sink problem that was not discovered in their first visit. They did say my garbage deposal probably did not need to be replaced and I went ahead and replaced it anyways with a higher model based solely on my own thinking but the real problem of the kitchen sink backups was a blockage in the drainline that only was discovered after a 4th visit - 2nd and 3rd visit dealt with solely with bathroom sink issues (I am sure they would have completed this work in one visit but the condo building manger got sick that day they came and thus the building water shutoff did not happen and work have to be rescheduled for the future building shutoff.). Strangely, the main office withheld billing me for months and months and I was kind of surprised by the bill when I got it and left me with a bad feeling towards all my experiences. Luckily when my kitchen sink backed up again and my wife was angry that they sent someone quickly (within 2-3 hours who was at a job in the vicinity and he finally determined the blockage was down in the drainpipe somewhere. I am still glad I replaced our badger 5 garbage disposal with a higher model but it would have saved me a lot of grief from my wife had they find this blockage the first visit. What the problem was with billing me (4 visits was billed as a hodge podge 3 visits rather than a bill for each after each one - I was almost thinking the owner died or they went out of business as I kept calling asking if they were going to sent me the plumbing bill.
