I was told Georgetown caregivers were 'employees,' but the first two provided quit with no notice after I'd spent two weeks getting them trained. Turns out they are contractors that Georgetown has very little control over.

When my Mother was discharged from a rehab facility she required 24/7 care. The staff at Georgetown Home Care helped us to immediately set up a schedule. There were a few initial bumps in the road, but after the 1st week everyone fell into a schedule. Also when we had an issue with one of the aides, the staff was readily available with a replacement. Rates are reasonable and the staff is willing to work with families to resolve any issues. They are there to help the caregiver(s) cope with a difficult situation.
