They made my previous cars’s oil loss problem worse and it was short on oil coming back from the shop immediately. I ended up selling the car rather than try and re-diagnose the issues further because it was a high mileage vehicle, so perhaps they could have fixed the issue, but it most certainly came back worse than before I dropped it off and luckily I was ready to sell it to cut my losses anyway at that point. The shop management had changed sometime during the pandemic and it wasn’t the exceptional repair service and experience I had before so that’s why I went there but won’t go back unless that culture changes.

Georgetown Exxon and Shell share Metro Motors. They're right across from each other on Wisconsin Ave. They fixed the heater on our 2015 Volt hybrid when the dealer said they didn't have their "electric guy" available. They were personable, efficient, and had good communication. We had to take our car back to them because although the heat was repaired, we were still getting an error message on the dash. Metro Motors spent time on it, but couldn't fix that part of the problem. I don't know how much heater repair costs, so I can't comment on the price, but I'm just glad it's fixed. Sadly, I still have to go back to the dealer about the error message because it is keeping us from being able to charge our car.

This has been my go-to shop for over a decade, but starting before the pandemic I started to see some quality issues. Twice they have not properly reattached plastic housings. They did this after replacing my AC compressor right before a long drive, and by the time I arrived a plastic piece in front was scraping on the ground. Also the compressor squeaks when it starts - sounds like it is rocking on its mounts, but I need to get it checked. Last time they did an oil change they didn't change the sticker. I checked and the oil looked clean so I think they did the work. They also got my headliner dirty in 2 or 3 places. I am now looking for a new shop.
