A couple of years ago we purchased a new living room set and kitchen set: tables, chairs, sofa, and chairs. The kitchen table began to fall apart, and came loose, and the paint/stain began to come off. The sofa cushions began to separate and the springs are already worn. When we called to inquire about the quality of the products that we purchased on a PB credit card, we got nowhere. It's overpriced junk.

We had a horrific experience buying our sectional. We waited 12-weeks to get it and it arrived torn, a seam in the front cushion, seams falling apart, and the cushions did not fit properly, and had this awful mold smell. Dealign with customer service was a nightmare. After waiting another 12-weeks for them to send someone out, I had to threaten to complain to my credit card company. They finally took it back but boy, I wish I would have saved myself all that heartburn and all that wasted time. After telling my girlfriends, I found out that two of them had had similar experiences with upholstered furniture. If you buy, just know you'll be living a nightmare if things go wrong.

I had a horrible experience with a special order item -- delivery months after promised, and multiple changes of delivery date in between. Eventually, I was given a 10% discount off the purchase price, and fortunately the delay wasn't critical, just annoying. In future, I'll be wary of special orders from this company. Have not had similar problems with in stock items.
