We went to five stores looking for a dishwasher. We initially chose Lowe's. Delivery was a mess. The dishwasher was supposedly found defective the morning of the install. Lowe's forgot to order another dishwasher for us. Best Buy was a totally different positive experience. The sales rep, Iqbal, was pleasant and helpful. The installation process was great. The Best Buy website had a prep checklist to ensure everything would be a successful install. Questions included a parking spot nearby for the installer. Very smart. The star was Rich, the installer. The install was flawless. Rich said he had installed over 30,000 dishwashers. He knew what he was doing. He showed us how the previous install was messed up and showed us how he would ensure we would not have the same problem. Rich was a craftsperson. The only flaw was that Best Buy had an old phone number for me in its database. I thought the number was corrected but it was not. Confirm install details when you are in the store and after you leave.

Order an electric wall oven from BB. Purchase process went smoothly, and a delivery install date was set. Night before delivery BB called and said item was still in transit and we reset the delivery date 5 days later. Day before delivery I received an email indicating next day delivery in a 12-hour window, Delivery never made. No call or follow-up from BB. I cancelled the order. It took a while for the refund to come through, as they still did not have the unit on hand and couldn't' refund the monies until the order finished being "processed."
