Sears repaired my 4-door Samsung refrigerator including replacing the ice maker, thermometer and fresh food evaporator assembly. The repair work was done properly by a competent technician, however, the almost 2-month wait for parts was intolerable. The work was performed at no cost under a service contract.

All I can say is stay away from Sears Home Services contracts, they are the worst of the worst. Took 4 tries to NOT fix our washer, still has the original problem. Additionally, any time you call to talk to an agent, you get a service that can barely speak English, and this was over at least a dozen calls, after which they still couldn't solve our issue. They will try to sell you a service contract, which makes the 1'st visit less expensive, but good luck trying to cancel the contract which runs north of $500 a year. The quality of the techs was hit and miss, one even had me hold the washer at a 45 degree angle so he could get access. Ridiculous. Stay Away!!!
