Overall this company's been very good about pickup in the past year. The only thing I have a problem with is their battery recycling. My instructions are to place the batteries in a bag on top of the recycle cart, but unless I put a BIG sign right next to the bag, the driver totally misses the bag and I find it on the street after they've been by. Sometimes they DO recycle the batteries -- but occasionally leave a stray one in the street. On the other hand, when it comes to the yard waste bins, the trucks and drivers seem quite flexible in dumping really heavy or full bins, I appreciate that. I value Cupertino's compost pickup service -- our yard waste becomes compost that we can pick up for FREE at Steven's Creek quarry year round except during rainy season. The material is excellent for growing annual veggies and top dressing all my landscape plants. My local garden centers and hardware stores don't offer anything like it.
