I was looking for a licensed landscaper. There were lots of highly rated ones on Yelp but seemingly had no license. Of the three licensed ones available locally, one only communicated with me by text (just once). The second did not even give me a quote because he was apparently unhappy that I asked him to wear a mask during his visit. Stones was the only one to show interest. Their price seemed reasonable. The owner came over quite a few times to see how things were going. The supervisor was around occasionally. I told them what I wanted and that was directly translated to the workers (in Spanish) while I was standing nearby. Despite that, so many things were not done as I told them to do. I gave them a scale drawing of my intended layout. It appears they do not know how to read it. Stunning. They did finish the job. It actually looks decent, and for that I am grateful. At least they were available. That's 90% of the game when the other contractors had no interest.
