If you are looking for a home security system, I would strongly recommend Sure Lock Homes, (408) 985-8090. They are a local, family-owned and operated company, serving residential and commercial security needs throughout the San Francisco Bay and San Jose area. We have been happy, satisfied Sure Lock Homes customers for over 30 years, installing our first security system in the early 1990’s. Greg Hiebert, owner, installer, and troubleshooter, is the best. He is committed to providing an excellent, high-quality product at a fair price, with timely customer service to match. Greg has always been reliable and dependable. When we call with a question, problem, or request, he returns our calls and schedules service calls very promptly. Over the years, we have turned to Sure Lock whenever we have wanted to upgrade components or to add to our security system. Among other enhancements, Greg has upgraded our motion detectors to a newer, more effective, small pet compatible model, and has added a new patio door glass-break detector. When purchasing a security system, it is important that the installer, who knows all the details about that home security system, is trustworthy. Greg brings that honesty and high integrity to the job. In addition, I always feel comfortable and safe with Greg in our home, even if I am home alone. (I can’t say the same for some other contractors.) And beyond all that, Greg is a nice person, friendly, cheerful, pleasant to be around, and helpful.

The thieves have figured out a way to circumvent the main over the counter systems that rely on WIFI to work. Several of our neighbors have been burglarized and their systems failed to work. Sure Lock Homes is family owned and indtalls hard wired system with phone back up. These systems are almost impossible for thieves to circumvent unlike the mass produced ones you buy at Costco or over the internet. They also have the advantage of being Fire and Carbon Monoxide detectors and come with panic buttons for immediate activation. You can get live monitiring which we do for an additional monthly fee. I worked in Law Enforcement for over 30 years and the Security Field for over ten after retiring. I highly recommend Sure Lock Homes and their equipment. They don't install video, you can buy the system over the internet to supplement their system if you want that. Remember - those are the systems being compromised !!! Having advised many high net worth and famous individuals - you don't want a $15 dollar and hour guard at a company watching your personal activities because they are bored and looking at cameras, get your own, non monitored, video system.

Greg Hiebert really knows his stuff when it comes to home security. He is conscientious and knowledgeable. His service is the third we have used and the best of the three. I like the personal service he provides. His prices are in line with the standard rates in our area.
