I've used Supercuts (primarily Fillmore St., SF) for years because of proximity and pricing, with highly variable results. Obviously, the talent/experience of the hairdresser is critical to the results. Over the past several years I've used the Battery St. location because "John" decamped from their Fillmore location to downtown SF. However, there appears to be pricing policy differences bet/ company-owned locations and franchise locations and the Battery St. salon did not accept an unsolicited corporate 'coupon' that had been sent to me, to encourage more frequent visits! Not sure they are well managed, but most of us are happy if the 'cut' is to our liking - and are likely to overlook certain deficiencies in the operation!
