Karl is absolutely amazing. He is a phenomenally talented physical therapist who can diagnose almost any problem by just having the patient walk around for awhile, and who then treats the problem effectively and efficiently, often by manipulations surprisingly distant from the actual location of the pain. We have been seeing him for years for a variety of problems (including broken bones and frozen shoulder) as well as simply for maintenance when there is no specific problem (I'm 73, so maintenance is required). He is also a delightful person strongly committed to improving everyone's physical health. My only complaint is that he doesn't deal with insurance reimbursement paperwork well (like dealing with the ever-changing medical treatment code game that the insurance companies constantly play to confuse everyone and minimize their obligations). His impatience with that aspect of his practice causes us to actually lose out a bit with respect to insurance reimbursement, but Karl is so good that we have no trouble overlooking that shortcoming. While he is a little unpredictable with respect to starting on time, that is because he is willing to spend considerably longer on anyone who he thinks needs the extra attention.
