My experience with Union was consigning an instrument for sale. As it happened, a sale did occur, but they didn't communicate that information! It was only when I requested a return of the instrument that I discovered it had been sold. The actual sales price was also a bit murky - I don't think the lapse was on purpose or indicated any ulterior motive - just a matter of the circumstances affecting their business and location - with the advent of Covid, the growing desolation in the upper Market area, and general deterioration of the area and - no doubt - their operations.
