I bought my first E bike here and really enjoyed the experience. The staff is friendly and knowledgable. The test-riding is easy, just out the door and around their hilly neighborhood. The follow-up service is excellent. The lines they carry are expensive, but not higher than any other retailer carrying these brands. I love going back to the store just to enjoy the atmosphere, shop for accessories and chat with the staff.

I've been a New Wheel customer since 2016. They've now opened a store in Oakland, at 1446 Leimart Blvd. Out of the three stores, this is the largest, plus it has a nice neighborhood to ride in, particularly for testing how an Ebike climbs hills. While I've sensed that with the expansion of the store's brand (three stores and a main repair facility) that the service isn't quite as personal (like everyone else, they're relying more on AI), you can still talk to a real person and get any questions answered. The staff remains very knowledgeable. This is not a store to buy a cheap Ebike from, but having owned several bikes from the store, the bike brands chosen are well-made and have a lot of good features to enhance the riding experience. The advice given is always top-notch, whether you're buying, or in for service. Highly recommended.
