The catalytic converter on my Toyota Prius, a few feet in front of my home, was stolen twice, by thieves cruising the Parkside. To replace it, cost me $4,300 at Parkside Motorwerx at 1840 Taraval St., including their mandatory $100 extra Covid cleaning fee, which was unnecessary. Eight months later, to replace it the second time, cost me $3,000 at the Toy Shop auto repair. Because the Toy Shop's manager, Wayland Lee, is competent and honest, they are now usually booked up several weeks in advance and it's hard for any customer to get a repair appointment at the Toy Shop.

Been taking my 2006 Acura RL here for almost 2 decades. Wayland and company always do a fantastic job, let's me know upfront what needs to be done, let's me know cost and asks me when I want it by. Always ready by that afternoon, great running car at a great price. He even has candy on his desk for the customers!
