Shop has been taken over by Harry from Prestige Auto Service. Seems that Terry and Mike have retired. Harry appears to contunue to provide good service.

Terry seems to be semiretired. It seems like he's sold the business and it's been renamed to Prestige Auto. The new guy, Harry, seemed decent.

I had been using Showplace Motorworks for a couple of years after my prior mechanic, Hans Art, retired and closed his shop. In 2023, Prestige Auto Service took over the Showplace Motorworks location off Brannan St near 6th St, so my review is for both Showplace and Prestige. Both auto repair shops have provided good service at a reasonable price. I like that both firms communicate with the customer the repairs that are essential and those that can wait.
