My refrigerator was only 5 years old. They came out and assessed the problem. They ordered parts which were one week late in arriving. They came back to install the parts and finish the repair. When they were finished, the temperature in the refrigerator after 24 hours was sixty degrees and the freezer temperature after 24 hours was fifty degrees. Needless to say I had to buy a new refrigerator, which I did at considerable cost. I made sure it was a Whirlpool as I will never buy from Sears (Kenmore) again. I contacted Sears since they have a 90 day warranty on the repair and requested a refund. They denied my request and told me they needed to continue to repair the refrigerator. I told them the refrigerator was gone as I had to replace it and they still refused to return the $1017 they charged me for the failed repair. I then contacted my credit card company and disputed the charge which after several months the credit card company resolved by refunding the charge to me. I will never deal with Sears again for any purpose ever.

Service was OK, wasn’t able to come up with a solution to my problem. Just told me my washer wasn’t worth fixing.

We had a service date pending on supplies. It turns out dispatch didn't order the parts for their Servicemen (from the work order). We had called multiple times and the work order wasn't filled. Finally, they sent the Serviceman out with the part. But we had to call repeatedly to check on the work order + push for the parts to get ordered. The Serviceman was out 2 days after our call. He was kind and helpful.
