I want to love Annie's (and glad they are re-opening). The issue is that the prices are so high and I've had only modest success with any plants I've purchased there. For unknown reasons, the plants I buy from the Home Depot in Hercules have done better. Overall "recommend", and if I had better success with their plants I wouldn't be sad about the high prices.

Unfortunately, Annie's has closed due to the owner's health and cost of running a business in Calif. However, they are looking for buyers who will provided the TLC and great customer service that Annie's staff had provided as well as informative tutorials on various plant categories. I found Annie's too late and am so sad they've had to close down. Crossing fingers they find a new buyer w/the same philosophy and green thumb!

Annie's quality has gone down while the prices have gone up. Aphids! Rust! Be very careful that any plant is firmly rooted in its container. The new website is very poor compared to the old.
