They cut and sand the slabs of marble/granite in your driveway and it's always a 1 day job. You can pay more for them to lay the wood or you can pre-lay the wood and it costs less. The only issue I had was that they use different subcontractors to do the installs and that wasn't clear to me the 1st two times they came out. I always assumed that those guys worked DIRECTLY for them until we asked for the same guys that came the 2nd rime (because we were in the middle of something and we couldn't get them back. But other than that we are delighted with them and have used them three times in our kitchen. The 1st time for installing a bar counter and then to re do all the counter tops in the kitchen. (Which we did in two parts)

I had a contractor use them some years ago to put in a black granite bar in the kitchen. He is a contractor I trust and I was on a budget when he did the work on the kitchen. We were happy with the work so when we decided to use them when we replaced our Formica counter tops with black granite to match. They didn't have the exact match on black granite as we used last time so the was kind of a bummer. But the counter top granite has gold flecks in it which I like very much. We did the job in two parts because I couldn't afford to do all the counter tops at once and was overwhelmed by having them all gone/ripped up at one time. They also use different subcontractors to come out and actually lay the counter tops which slightly complicated things because the 1st guys that came out gave us specific instructions, and we assumed they were who would come back. When I found it wasn't them, I asked for them specifically and it they were busy during the time frame that we were available to be home to supervise the work. I would have appreciated it if we had known that. Because up until the 3rd time they came into home? I had always thought that they were the whole operation. That we picked the granite at their showroom and that the people that came out and cut it in the driveway and laid it also worked directly for them. But we are very happy with our counter tops and we tell people were we got them.
