Best to request the tax person that you prefer up front. They do good work, but can take a long time (maybe 1.5 months versus days or a week or two) even after they have all the material in hand. I am not sure how they prioritize whose taxes gets done first (maybe new clients get done first?), but it is definitely not first-come, first-served.
