Very strange occurrence where I was driving and my sunroof shattered. I don't know what caused it. Since this is apparently a rare thing, I had a hard time finding a place to repair it. The dealer quote was roughly $2400. There does not appear to be 3rd party replacement parts for sunroofs. Peter Pan auto glass replaced it very quickly and it was very inexpensive. The replacement was used but the overall cost was $600. There appears to be a small leak but it goes into the body drain and not into the passenger area. I'm not sure if this is normal but they said it is and a quick google search was non-conclusive. He gave me a 5 year warranty on parts and labor.
