Andy Der handled my taxes for the first time. He came well-recommended by my son-in-law. Two years ago I made an error on TurboTax resulting in a $10,000 swing in the IRS's favor. I gave Andy the entire file and asked him to figure it out. In a matter of days he had found the error (a simple typo), gave the file back, and didn't charge me. This year I was unable to use TTax because I'd lost some computer files, and again gave Andy the entire file. Although he didn't make the April 15 filing, in part because I gave him the file quite close to the deadline, he did get everything done in time to file on time by October. The price was quite reasonable, given the issues presented and the time he must have spent. Andy was always responsive to my inquiries.
